- We have a lot of time to ask questions, share, and get everyone up to speed. PATIENCE :)
- (3 min) Checking Assessment (grades). 3 Tasks from last session:
- Google Group Team project (sheets, picasa, forms, reader) & blog post
- Web2 def. & Productivity tool (tinyurl, dropbox, 4shared, delicious)
- OTEN reflection (ouch). Yodio or VoiceThread.
- (10 minutes) OTEN - Yodio projects are due. Discuss this nightmare experience!!!!!
- (5 min) Discuss how to make hyperlinks active in a blog post or email.
- Work in pairs or small groups.
- (~ 10 min) Leah (Devil's Advocate) and Addressing Hurdles, Roadblocks & Barriers: MY STOCK ANSWER.
- (15 min) Google Docs (Ownership and Organizing)
- Who OWNS your docs? ____ yourname@willamette.edu 'owner' -> invite your personal gmail -> Switch owners.
- Create new COLLECTIONS to organize. Demo.
- (40 min) Student Presentations: Google Docs Suite group projects
- Group share (about ~5-10 min / group)
- (45 min) My Favorite Web2.0 Tools --- Personal Productivity Tool (Definition and small groups).

BREAK TIME- 10 minutes:
- Assignment #5: MULTI-MEDIA Project (CA6.35) -
- In the Class Data Sheet, each of you is assigned to one tool from the cloud-based multimedia Screen Recorders category.
- Categories include: Screenr; Voice Thread; and Ustream (and I'm open to other suggestions)
- An overview and description of each product is located here: Web2.0 tools.
- The project (tasks) includes:
- experimenting with the tool;
- articulately defining and describing the function of the tool (in your own words); and
- describing how this tool might increase teacher or student personal productivity and enhance learning.
- Post the above criteria in your personal Blog. Title: Multi-media Project.
- You may work collaboratively on this project (exploring, asking and answering essential questions, etc.)
